The firm was initially a single proprietor, JOJO R. MIRANDA ARCHITECTS in 1986 at San Fernando, La Union. With additional projects the firm cannot provide better service to bigger and additional projects so came, ARCH. JOJO R. MIRANDA & ASSOCIATES in 1990 at San Fernando, La Union.

 

Recognition of the need to provide specialized service to more clientele and compete nationwide the firm was incorporated in 1994 in the name of 1958 TRADING CORPORATION. This time the firm did projects outside La Union and went as far as Metro Manila, Zambales, Baguio, Pangasinan, Ilocos and Cebu. And given an experience to do schematic design of AUSTRALIA THEMED PARK (DISNEYLAND) commissioned by Australia Heritage Incorporation, Brisbane Australia. The corporation also ventured into WOOD WORK BUSINESS exporting to Brisbane, Australia with Antiquated Panel Doors and Louver Doors for two years and exported classical wood products to San Francisco, California, USA.

 

Because of Global Crisis in the year 2002 the corporation was dissolved.

The firm downgraded its services and then came ARCH. J.R.MIRANDA Architectural Office and continued our services for Planning and Consultancy  only. This time we entered into environmental development with the first consultancy and planning for Engineered Sanitary Landfill of City of San Fernando, La Union. Simultaneously the consultant of Housing Development of City of San Fernando Employees.

 

In 2014 the firm again upgraded its capacity to bigger projects and service projects to bigger clientele, so JMIRANDA BUILDERS came into existence with the goal of Eco-Friendly Design and Construction. We have done Eco projects such as Eco-Friendly Memorial Park in Ilocos Sur and Green Architecture Beach Resort in the same province.

 

Last year, 2017, we have decided to put up a family corporation, which we came up with JMIRANDA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.  A “one-stop shop” corporation which offers a wide variety of services from Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Interior Design, Project Management & Furniture.
